STABILO Point 88 Hits Web 2.0 Marketing Class!

Tonight I had the chance to do one of my favorite things - spread the STABILO love!

I passed out samples of the STABILO Point 88 pen to classmates in my Web 2.0 Marketing class (the first class of it's kind in the US!). I was shedding tears of STABILO joy as I saw the retro orange barrel with white stripes in everyone's hands. After giving the class a little background on STABILO, I finished by saying how I noticed that everyone who picks up this pen loves it. As I headed back to my seat, my classmate Idyll opened the card that held the pen and with surprise and joy she said, "I do love this pen!".

Wanting to know why she loves it, I asked her about it after class. Idyll explained that she used to have all the colors in Point 88, and that she loves it because it's easy to hold and actually makes her handwriting look better. Who wouldn't love a pen that makes their handwriting look better? That practically makes it like a magic pen in my book!

After class, there were several extra samples left over which were eagerly swooped up by those who wanted seconds on the way out. I hope the rest of my classmates who met Point 88 for the first time tonight enjoy it as much as Idyll and I do!

  1. you needed to take some picts from the class tonight :)

I want to share my experience here one more time. I love stabilo. I have each color of it in back home TURKEY!! But It was kind of expensive for me when I was a student over there.

I love it b/c I think my handwriting is horrible but when I use Stabilo It helps me to write nicer.

  2. Thanks for the love.

"Ooh I love it, do they have more colors," was the reaction as the pen was immediately confiscated by my wife.

She said something about writing thank you notes, so I let her keep the pen and will have to look for my own.

  3. Thanks for the Stabilo! I love the way it writes so smoooothly and feels GOOD in my hand.

I can understand why Paul Dooley's wife wants his for notecards - Stabilo will be perfect for that!

I am a pen addict, and my husband is a pen snob so I'd like to think that my family knows a little something something about what makes a good everyday pen and this is IT! Plus, it's design is destinctive so it easily sets itself apart from other pens/pencils in ye old pen holder. I like that it visually looks like a cross between a pen and a pencil!

Let's just talk about it's German heritage for a moment: Das ist eine gute! Ya!

One more thing - I'm sure you are competing with the Sharpie. And I have to say I have a drawer full of every size, shape, color and tip point of Sharpie next to me right now (I told you I'm a pen addict, right?) and Stabilo is just a higher octane! Stabilo is a much better pen in comparison to Sharpie because it writes better (smoother), fits in the hand better (shaped like an old fashioned pencil) and just plain looks coool.

Where do I go to BUY STABILOS? I need more! I especially need an orange one - I'm just craving orange. Orange. Orange is best. Where do I get orange?

    Write on!

  4. Thanks for the pen Lisa!

I really love the forest green color. The best part is how smoothly the pen writes and then dries on paper. I have a pretty strange grip, so it's hard to find a pen that is comfortable to hold, but so far so good with my new pen :)

  5. Stabilo Can take the Pressure!

Used my Stabilo turquoise colored pen to make corrections on early drafts of my Web 2.0 mid-term. Writes great, doesn't get mushy at the tip, and the colors are very fun. But then, I'm not surprise--the Stabilo Boss IS my favorite highlighter by far...
