Giant STABILO Hands of Love in Germany!

The Paperworld show is held in Frankfurt, Germany every year in late January/ early February. This show is a MASSIVE production that includes several multi-level halls filled with companies exhibiting everything from designer backpacks to make-up to crazy Christmas decorations. In the middle of all that is the grand showcase - Hall 3. This is the main hall which features mostly writing instruments. STABILO can easily be called the main attraction of this hall as it sits right in the middle and is always colorful, fun, and innovative.

Each year the booth has a different theme. This year's theme was Right Handers and Left Handers, to pump up their ergonomically designed S' move Easy pens and Easy Ergo pencils, which come in both right and left-handed versions. You could either enter the booth from a humongous left-hander's doorway or an equally humongous right-hander's doorway. Inside there were larger than life plush pens and pencil "benches", product testing areas, and a booth where you could get a mysterious fruity drink in a vial (sorry, non-alcoholic!).

But behind the red curtain in the back is where the real action happens. If you know the right people, you can gain "backstage" access and enter the meeting area to sit down, talk new products, and get served up some tasty German treats (waitresses come and actually take your order) courtesy of Stabilo. You can even get a beer to make up for the non-alcoholic fruity vial! If you don't get access backstage, there is still another side area where anyone can enter and view all the hot new Stabilo products coming out.
